Fashion designer

I’m Michelle Verhoeven, a Dutch fashion designer based in Utrecht, The Netherlands.

After completing a four-year fashion program at ROC Amsterdam, I continued my education at Akademie Vogue in Amsterdam, where I graduated cum laude as a Fashion Designer in 2019.

 

Throughout and after my studies, I gained experience in various roles within the fashion industry — including fashion designer, stylist, sales assistant, visual merchandiser, and seamstress.  My designs have been featured in several national and international fashion magazines, both in print and online,

In 2022, I launched Vamp the Label — a commercial sister brand focused on festival fashion, designed for those who love to stand out. Vamp the Label is all about bold styling, unique cuts, glittering fabrics, and creating custom outfits that empower. That same year, I participated in the Dutch fashion TV show Heb ik wat van je aan? on Net5, where I designed a custom look for presenter and Member of Parliament Lucille Werner.

One of the highlights of my career so far was presenting my collection during the very first edition of Rotterdam Fashion Week in 2023, a bold and defining step in my journey as an independent Dutch fashion designer with a distinctive signature style

Currently, my focus lies on growing Vamp the Label, where I continue to create bold, empowering looks for the festival scene and beyond.
In recent years, I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with inspiring talents such as Lisanne Dijkstra, Miss Netherlands 2023 Rikkie Kollé, and top model Loiza Lamers.
